I am a clinical Interventional Radiologist and Vice Chair of Research at a large academic institution. I perform a range of image-guided procedures for treatment of a variety of diseases. I am a part of a group in a level I trauma center that provides service 24 hours per a day and 7 days a week throughout the calendar year for both inpatients and outpatients. I routinely see patients in clinic to evaluate their illness, to discuss treatment options, and to follow-up after therapy. I have admitting privileges for monitoring my post-procedural patients and also routinely oversee the Interventional Radiology consult service. I also perform interpretations of non-invasive cardiovascular imaging studies. Additionally, I participate in and help administer weekly multi-disciplinary hepatic tumor board and vascular conferences. My clinical group is a key member of a number of facets of clinical care in a robust academic medical setting.

I am a board-certified radiologist and completed fellowship training in breast imaging and interventional radiology from Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center, respectively. I have more than a decade of experience in radiology with the majority of my current practice centered on breast imaging. I have provided radiology services for major hospital institutions in Houston, including many in the world-renown Texas Medical Center. I am an imaging expert in all aspects of breast imaging including mammography (including 3d mammography or tomosynthesis), breast ultrasound, breast MRI, breast biopsies, and breast localizations. With my background in interventional radiology, I am able to perform many complex procedural cases that typical breast imagers are unable to perform. I am a partner in my radiology practice and have extensive experience in leadership and operational management.
