Dr. Joshua Cornman-Homonoff is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. He earned his BA from Dartmouth College, where he graduated with High Honors in Biology and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He then spent a year at the National Institutes of Health as part of the NIH Academy. During this time, he conducted research focused on the genetics of neural tube defects and received training on healthcare disparities. He received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed a dedicated research year studying the epigenetic basis of aging. He then completed an internship in general surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He subsequently underwent fellowship training in interventional radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Cornman-Homonoff's research interests focus on the treatment of venous thromboembolism and portal hypertension. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and lectured at numerous conferences. Additionally, he serves as the Medical Director of Interventional Radiology at the local VA Medical Center.
