Dr. Jeffrey Leichter is double Board-Certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology with more than 15 years of clinical experience. Having completed 1-year ACGME-accredited fellowships in both interventional radiology and musculoskeletal radiology he has successfully performed thousands of complex procedures spanning the full spectrum of interventional radiology. Dr. Leichter maintains an active Florida medical license and is faculty at The University of Miami. Dr. Leichter completed his postgraduate medical training and research at some of the nation’s most prestigious institutions including Massachusetts General Hospital /Harvard Medical School, Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael campus, Thomas Jefferson University, Temple University, and Penn State University. At each stage of his training, he consistently distinguished himself through excellence and dedication. He went on to serve as Program Director for Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami, where he oversaw the comprehensive training of fellows, residents, and medical students. The demands of this role provided him with the insight and expertise to lead with authority across both academic and clinical domains, ensuring the highest standards of physician education and patient care. His leadership roles also included Co-Director of Operations for Interventional Radiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the region’s largest and most comprehensive tertiary care hospital, a Level 1 trauma center, and the University of Miami’s primary teaching hospital. In addition, he served as Director of Spine, Vascular, and Trauma Interventional Radiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. These senior positions, spanning both education and departmental operations, provided him with a unique blend of clinical, administrative, and teaching expertise. For more than five years, Dr. Leichter also served as Assistant Professor of Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he combined his academic commitment with an active clinical practice. In addition to his leadership and clinical roles, Dr. Leichter has an extensive academic record. He has authored and presented more than 20 peer-reviewed works of research at national and international conferences and has lectured widely across multiple specialties. Recognized as a thought leader, he brings both scholarly expertise and practical insight to complex medical questions. Dr. Leichter also provides expert witness services, where his work benefits from his multidisciplinary perspective and ability to communicate clearly with attorneys. Drawing on his experience reviewing thousands of complex medical charts, collaborating with physicians across specialties, and teaching hundreds of trainees, he offers the judgment and analytical skill required for high-level legal review.
