Troy Newman is the Managing Partner for Group Nine Risk Consulting, a security risk management and forensic consulting firm. In addition to his work as an expert witness, Troy works with organizations to conduct security risk assessments and is a regular speaker on violence prevention and risk mitigation. Troy is a United States Army veteran, with service in Iraq and Afghanistan. He served 25 years in the Military Police, retiring as a Colonel in 2020.
