Dr. Stone's field of practice is Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. He has over thirty- eight years of experience in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. A past president of the Texas Affiliate of the American Diabetes Association, Dr. Stone received his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and a Master of Public Health from Harvard University. He completed a residency in aerospace medicine and a fellowship in hyperbaric medicine and wound care at the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine at Brooks Air Force Base. While serving our country as an Army physician and flight surgeon, he received numerous honors including Senior Army Flight Surgeon Wings, promotion to the rank of Major, and the Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
