Wendy E. Handler, MD, CIME, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and Certified Independent Medical Examiner with more than 31 years of clinical experience across primary care, urgent care, women's health, telemedicine, and academic medicine. Her broad clinical background includes extensive management of both acute and chronic medical conditions, providing a well-rounded perspective on patient care, functional assessment, and accepted standards of care. She also has substantial, ongoing experience in COVID-19 diagnosis and management, including antiviral treatment selection, triage of patients to urgent or emergency care, and application of evolving national evidence-based guidelines.
