DeAndrea T. Williams, CRC, CVE, IPEC, CLCP, is a nationally recognized expert in vocational evaluation, earning capacity analysis, rehabilitation counseling, and life care planning. She brings more than a decade of specialized experience in assessing the vocational impact of physical, psychological, cognitive, and developmental conditions across disability, employment law, civil litigation, ERISA, workers’ compensation, and personal injury matters. As the President and CEO of Land of Goods Vocational Consulting, Ms. Williams leads a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive vocational evaluations, labor market research, transferable skills assessments, employability determinations, medical and psychological record reviews, and expert witness testimony for cases nationwide. She maintains offices in Florida and Colorado and provides forensic services throughout the United States. Ms. Williams holds a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services from Florida State University. She has earned multiple professional certifications, including Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE), International Psychometric Evaluator (IPEC), and Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP), reflecting her advanced competencies in psychometric assessment, functional evaluation, disability analysis, and long-term planning. She has completed extensive expert witness training further strengthening her ability to provide clear, defensible, and methodologically sound opinions in complex litigation. Her professional experience spans both private-sector disability management and public rehabilitation services. As a Return-to-Work Coordinator for The Hartford Insurance Group, she conducted detailed employability analyses, return-to-work evaluations, and vocational impact assessments for claimants with multifaceted medical conditions. In her role as Disability Manager III with Sedgwick Claim Management Services, she managed complex clinical claims, collaborated with treating providers, analyzed functional capacity documentation, and developed work reintegration strategies for individuals with significant limitations. Earlier in her career, Ms. Williams worked with the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, where she delivered vocational seminars, assessed psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, and developed tailored employment plans that resulted in high rehabilitation success rates. At Tallahassee Community College, she supported students with disabilities by coordinating accommodations and ensuring adherence to ADA and HIPAA regulatory requirements. In her forensic practice, Ms. Williams is known for her ability to integrate medical evidence, functional assessments, vocational methodologies, and labor market data into clear, objective, and defensible vocational opinions. She routinely evaluates the impact of orthopedic, neurological, psychiatric, and chronic health conditions on an individual’s ability to work, sustain employment, and earn competitive wages. Her reports include detailed analyses of functional limitations, job demands, wage trends, occupational access, and the long-term vocational trajectory expected with and without accommodations or treatment. Ms. Williams authors comprehensive vocational evaluations for ERISA disability appeals, long-term disability disputes, catastrophic injury cases, divorce and family law matters, employment litigation, ADA disputes, personal injury claims, and cases requiring expert testimony regarding employability and earning capacity. She is frequently retained for her thorough record review, strong command of vocational science, and clear articulation of findings in deposition and trial settings. She also provides training and mentorship to new evaluators entering the forensic vocational field.
