Dr. Guttman is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Guttman is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Additionally, Dr. Guttman holds a Focused Practice Designation (FPD) in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound (AEMUS) from ABEM. Dr. Guttman completed medical school and an Emergency Medicine residency at McGill University as well as an Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He recently completed a 5-year tenure as the AEMUS Fellowship director. Dr. Guttman has over 10 years experience in academic emergency medicine.
