Dr. Khalid is a board-certified Emergency Medicine (EM) Physician with fellowship training and certification in Emergency Ultrasound. Currently practicing in Georgia, has more than 8 years of experience working in a myriad of clinical settings. These range from busy urban trauma centers, Veterans Affairs hospitals, and prestigious academic institutions to community and suburban settings. He spent many years as a highly awarded educator at Emory University School of Medicine, mentoring a multitude of medical students, residents and young physicians from all specialties. Dr. Khalid has spoken at multiple national conferences on various topics in Point-of-care Ultrasound (POCUS), in addition to contributing as an author on medical books relating to EM and POCUS. He has also served as the Emergency Ultrasound Director at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, creating and perfecting systems for POCUS integration among clinical staff and providers. In his experience as a physician and educator, he has perfected the use of analogies to explain complex medical concepts, an ability that is highly appreciated by his patients as well as students and staff of all education levels. Dr. Khalid has active medical licenses in GA, MI and IL in good standing. He provides services including document review, deposition and trial testimony as well as cross examination preparation. As an advocate for patient wellbeing, devoted to objectivity and honesty, Dr. Khalid consults in any case requiring medical expertise.
