A strength of my methodology is the case review, informed by my interest in analytic writing and clear communication. I undertake the perspective of the treating physician to try to understand their actions at various inflection points. The review looks at office visits, operative reports, imaging studies, patient narratives, and timelines before, during, and after the events in question. What is not documented can be as important as what is explicitly stated. Alternative explanations are considered when the initial causation theory is not supported by the facts,.
