Dr. Bennett has over 25 years of clinical experience and is a board-certified general surgeon trained at the University of Chicago, and a fellowship trained surgical oncologist from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Society of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Bennett is the System Chair of Surgery for LifeBridge Health, a large, academic, multi-hospital, healthcare system in Baltimore, Maryland. He maintains an active clinical practice in surgical oncology and is part of core teaching faculty. He was prior Division Chief of surgical oncology at a large academic hospital and was director of the hepatobiliary-pancreas multidisciplinary team, and the gastric, melanoma and sarcoma multidisciplinary team.
