Dr. Mihail Zilbermint, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.E., is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine specializing in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He serves as the Chief and Director of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, and is the director of the Endocrine Hospitalist program. After completing his endocrinology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Zilbermint established an Endocrine Hospitalist and Inpatient Diabetes Management Service at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. I am a physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky. I am a clinical endocrinologist and the Practice Lead of the St. Elizabeth Physicians Regional Diabetes Center. I am also the Clinical Director of Value-Based Performance and Director of Endocrinology Research for St. Elizabeth Physicians. I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky. I am the Northern Kentucky course director for MD 824: Endocrinology and Reproductive Systems. I hold hospital privileges at the St. Elizabeth Hospitals in Northern Kentucky. I have post-graduate medical education in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. I maintain an active board certification in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. I have been in active clinical practice in Endocrinology for over 16 years.
