I completed my undergraduate studies at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and majored in Biopsychology and minored in Moral and Political Philosophy. I went on to complete my Masters degree in Public Health at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut before starting medical school in Dayton, Ohio at The Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. After graduating from medical school, I moved from Ohio to Indiana and I completed my Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism fellowship in Indianapolis, Indiana at The Indiana University School of Medicine. After graduation, I started the first endocrinology practice in Boone County Indiana at Witham Hospital in Lebanon Indiana in 2012. I am a physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky. I am a clinical endocrinologist at the St. Elizabeth Physicians Regional Diabetes Center. I am also the Clinical Director of Value-Based Performance and Director of Endocrinology Research for St. Elizabeth Physicians. I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky. I am the Northern Kentucky course director for MD 824: Endocrinology and Reproductive Systems. I hold hospital privileges at the St. Elizabeth Hospitals in Northern Kentucky. I have post-graduate medical education in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. I maintain an active board certification in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. I have been in active clinical practice in Endocrinology for over 16 years. I see approximately 200 patients monthly treating Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and another 200 patients monthly for other endocrinologic diseases.
