Patrick Filkins, PharmD, BCPS, DABAT obtained a BS in Biochemistry at SUNY Old Westbury and a Doctorate of Pharmacy at the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy and Physician Assistant studies. Following pharmacy school he completed residency at Grady Memorial Health System in Atlanta, Georgia and subsequently a clinical toxicology fellowship at the Georgia Poison Center. He is currently board-certified in toxicology (DABAT) and pharmacotherapy (BCPS). He is a practicing clinical toxicologist at the Georgia Poison Center, emergency medicine clinical pharmacist at Grady Memorial Health System, and an adjunct instructor of emergency medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine.
