- Designed and documented clean-up and sampling procedures of USMC Harrier AV-8B mishap,
Havelock, NC. Among the first scientists to collect data on damaged composite fiber
materials, 1988.
- Designed, supervised, and assisted with cleanup of major asbestos removal project, saving more
than $150,000 in contract costs, Naval Air Rework Facility, MCAS Cherry Point, NC, 1988.
- Provided industrial hygiene support from Naval Base Subic, Philippines, for asbestos removal
and remediation after major steam pipe explosion on board USS MIDWAY, 1990.
- Identified over 500 samples of asbestos containing material aboard USS INDEPENDENCE,
