Dr. Jason Cheung, MD is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. For nearly twenty years, he owned and operated Silverdale and Bainbridge Eye Physicians where he practiced Comprehensive and Pediatric Ophthalmology and performed thousands of cataract and strabismus operations. He currently is the staff ophthalmologist for the Mary Bridge Children’s Eye Center in Tacoma, Washington and he is a Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Washington, School of Medicine.
He obtained his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota. He then returned to Canada to complete his fellowships in Ocular Genetics and in Pediatric Ophthalmology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
