Dr. Spruiell is an orthopaedic surgeon with additional fellowship training in spine surgery, and he now focuses his practice on all aspects of adult spinal surgery including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal disorders. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL. He then moved west to join the University of Colorado Department of Orthopedic Surgery for his residency. There, he gained extensive training in the management of degenerative and traumatic orthopaedic and spinal conditions. He then moved to California and completed additional fellowship training in Spine Surgery at the University of California – San Diego. There, he completed a rigorous and comprehensive training in all aspects of adult spine care.
