Dr. Martucci is a double-boarded anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician. He has 25 years of post-residency experience performing multiple different interventional pain management procedures including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation (RFTC), discography, platelet rich plasma (PRP), peripheral nerve stimulation, and spinal cord stimulation. He is also an experienced prescriber of opioid medication. Dr. Martucci is also a licensed attorney and graduated from the University of Texas School of Law (with honors) in 1988. After practicing business law in Houston with Vinson & Elkins he became interested in medicine and attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed a general surgery internship at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, and an anesthesiology residency at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He completed a pain management fellowship at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center under Gabor Racz, MD. Dr. Martucci has owned and successfully operated Tulsa Pain Consultants since 2004. He has performed over 50,000 interventional pain management procedures, and has significant experience in the responsible prescribing of opioid medications, especially buprenorphine. With his legal background, Dr. Martucci has a particular focus in the medicolegal aspects of opioid medication and prescribing. Dr. Martucci has significant experience working as a consulting expert in pain management cases, and has interest in expanding that role into deposition and testifying work.
