Gina Marra is a registered nurse, licensed clinical social worker, legal nurse consultant, and life care planning professional with clinical experience in emergency nursing, psychiatric and behavioral health care, neurologic injury, traumatic brain injury, and medically complex patients. She continues to practice at the bedside in the emergency department, giving her current, firsthand knowledge of emergency nursing standards, triage, assessment, patient safety, discharge practices, documentation, and interdisciplinary care. Gina has experience evaluating cases involving emergency care, nursing standards of care, patient deterioration, discharge safety, communication, documentation, and care coordination. She has reviewed matters for both plaintiff and defense, completed complex expert reports, assessed cases for merit, and provided deposition testimony.
