Additional Information

I am a Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over 16 years of clinical experience and current leadership roles across multiple emergency departments in Maryland. I have extensive experience in evaluating emergency care, with a focus on cases involving missed or delayed diagnosis, triage decision-making, and improper discharge or disposition. I regularly review cases involving chest pain and myocardial infarction, stroke and neurologic emergencies, sepsis, trauma evaluation, and other high-risk emergency presentations. I served as Medical Director for two free-standing emergency departments within the University of Maryland Medical System. Previously served as Director of Emergency Medicine at Carroll Hospital and as Systems Director for Emergency Medicine at LifeBridge Health, with medical directorship at Sinai Hospital, a large urban academic center. I currently serve as Director of Medical Education for the Emergency Departments at Sinai of Baltimore and Northwest Hospital. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Medical Staff, Chair of the Medical Staff Quality Committee, and leading departmental Morbidity and Mortality review processes. I have participated in and led multidisciplinary initiatives focused on PCI, stroke, sepsis, trauma, and emergency department operations. I am a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP). I'm known for clear, objective, and timely case evaluations. Available for case review, written reports, depositions, and expert testimony.
