Double Board-Certified Gynecologic Oncologist and Obstetrician-Gynecologist | Expert in Complex Surgical Management, Oncology, and Women's Health I am double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Gynecologic Oncology. Fellowship-trained at the prestigious Women & Infants Hospital of Brown University’s Alpert Medical School, my expertise spans both breast and gynecologic oncology. I have extensive experience in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship of gynecologic cancers, and am highly specialized in the surgical management of placenta accreta spectrum disorder and other high-risk obstetric emergencies requiring surgical intervention. As a Gynecologic Oncologist — among the most elite surgical specialists in women’s health — I have frequently provided intraoperative rescue and complex surgical backup for gynecologic, general, colorectal, and urologic surgeons. Over two decades in academic medicine, I have chaired and served on multiple Quality Improvement (QI) committees, led Morbidity & Mortality (M&M) conferences, conducted sensitive peer reviews, and collaborated on interdisciplinary hospital safety boards. In addition to my surgical expertise, I have extensive experience in systemic cancer therapies, including chemotherapy planning, protocol development, and quality assurance. I have directly managed complex oncology patients in tertiary and quaternary care settings and served as a clinical educator for both Gynecologic Oncology and Hematology/Oncology fellows. I have authored and implemented chemotherapy safety protocols within electronic health records and contributed to desensitization protocols for high-risk chemotherapy patients. An accomplished educator and researcher, I have designed surgical training curricula, proctored residents and junior faculty, led Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) initiatives, and served on data safety and monitoring boards. My work has resulted in multiple peer-reviewed publications and national recognition for teaching and mentorship. In addition, I hold a master’s degree in Integrative Medicine, providing a unique, evidence-based perspective on complementary and alternative therapies in cancer survivorship, pain management, and mental health — as well as the ability to critically evaluate non-evidence-based practices that may exploit vulnerable patients. I bring a balanced, highly credible, and deeply experienced voice to expert witness engagements in both plaintiff and defense cases. Key Strengths for Legal Work: *Complex gynecologic and obstetric surgical cases * Standard of care, causation, and adverse outcome analysis * High-risk obstetrics (Placenta Accreta Spectrum disorder) * Oncology systemic therapy management * Chemotherapy planning and safety protocols * Quality assurance, peer review, and hospital safety operations * Evidence-based complementary and alternative medicine * Extensive experience with deposition and trial preparation
