I am a Double Board-Certified Interventional Pain Management Physician and Psychiatrist and Founder of Mind and Brain Link. I started his academic path by completing a 4 Year BSc. Honors Degree in Life Sciences at the prestigious Queen’s University in Canada. I then received his Medical Doctorate degree at one of the top medical schools in the United Kingdom, University of Birmingham in England. I then went on to complete his Psychiatry residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health at Staten Island University Hospital in New York City. I then completed his Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College, and shortly after became double board certified in both pain medicine and psychiatry. After my training, I worked at Henry Ford Health System in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine and Perioperative Surgery, and was also on Faculty at Wayne State School of Medicine as Assistant Professor. I then moved to Southern California, where I currently work at various group private practices in interventional pain and psychiatry. I am committed to staying current with the latest research, proven by his numerous publications (over 50 publications and 6 book chapters) and is a member of editorial boards for over 7 prestigious journals, and regularly requested to review, critique and appraise high impact international research studies. I have been involved and co-authored several international guidelines, as well as being a principal investigator and leader for clinical trials and research studies, that have been published in high impact journals. I am currently involved in ongoing research studies as a clinical investigator at a research institute, collaborating with pharmaceutical companies to overlook high impact clinical trials. In addition, I have delivered several oral presentations and abstracts at international conferences. I am a member of many societies in Pain Medicine and Psychiatry, and holds appointments on various committees, including the Education Committee for the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS), Research Committee for Pacific Spine & Pain Society (PSPS) and the Research Committee for American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN). I specialize in minimally invasive procedures for chronic pain, neuromodulation, interventional pain, psychopharmacology, neuropsychiatry, medication management, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and insomnia. I hold active medical licenses in both New York and California.
