I bring over 50 years of experience in the field of nursing, with more than 23 of those years dedicated to serving as an expert witness in a wide range of cases across numerous states. My work has encompassed all aspects of case involvement, including mediations, arbitrations, closed hearings, and both bench and jury trials. My areas of expertise include medical malpractice, standards of care in both medical and psychological contexts, elder abuse (both financial and physical), and the comprehensive life needs of vulnerable populations. I have been retained in cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. I hold multiple national board certifications relevant to these domains and maintain all certifications in active status. Additionally, I have served as a court-appointed Guardian of the Person and Estate for both adults and children for over 20 years. These guardianship matters have ranged from routine oversight to highly contested and litigated cases, with and without involvement from family members. I was an early pioneer in the field of case management in the 1980s and among the first to provide formal advocacy services for the elderly and disabled. I have been recognized as a subject matter expert in nursing, life care planning, and disability issues. I also founded IKOR, the first national franchise focused on Life Advocacy, which operated in major metropolitan areas across the United States.
