My name is Michael Krosin, MD. I am an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon in a high volume clinical and academic practice. I have been in practice for ten years. My clinical focus is orthopedic trauma surgery including complex and revision fracture care, infections and post traumatic deformity. In addition I have a busy elective practice in primary and revision hip and knee replacement as well as elective foot and ankle surgery. I am involved in teaching nationally as well as with my residents and am regarded as an engaging and thoughtful teacher with excellent interpersonal relationships and presence. I have several published articles in peer-reviewed journals, have served on quality committees and ethics committees, and spent several years as Departmental Chair. Dr. Travers is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in adult reconstruction (joint replacement) and is on faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as the Director of the Orthopaedic Robotics and Navigation Program at UPenn and is the lead educator for the arthroplasty training curriculum - providing clinical/intraoperative training for medical students, residents, and fellows. Michael Barker, MD, FACS, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified general surgeon who specializes in Bariatric and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and SUNY Brooklyn College of Medicine, and also completed a Fellowship in Bariatric & Minimally Invasive Surgery at East Carolina University. Dr. Barker spent 16 years on Active Duty in the Navy, where he made multiple overseas deployments and was Director of the largest Bariatric Surgery program within the Department of Defense.
