For over 34 years, my professional activities have been performing surgical procedures on patients with musculoskeletal cancers and/or joint replacements for limb salvage/reconstruction, teaching, research, and consulting services. As an endowed full professor, I have trained surgeons since 1990 (>272 residents and fellows), performed research funded by both the US National Institutes of Health and medical industry, designed medical instruments, provided consultation work for the US Food and Drug Administration, medical device and pharmaceutical industry, and the medical legal community, and have served as president for 2 major international medical specialty societies. I perform medical legal consultations for both defense and plaintiff cases. I have published 98 peer reviewed scholarly papers, 12 non-peer reviewed publications, 11 book chapters, and made 101 professional presentations in addition to numerous lectures. B.S.
