I have been in the medical field for over 20 years, graduating in 2002 from high school with my nurse assistance license, and have worked my way up from a BSN, RN (med-surg floor, solid organ transplant unit, and wound-ostomy nurse in a hospital and clinic setting). Now I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, with 3+ years in primary care and an additional 7 years in the hospice and palliative care setting. I have balanced primary care with my wound and ostomy certification since 2010. I currently see patients primarily in hospice, in the home setting. Be that their house, assisted/independent living facility or skilled nursing facility. I have given lectures at local, regional and national conferences on topics related to hospice wound care and management of chronic wound symptoms; pain, odor, bleeding and drainage.

Dr. Aimee Gough is board-certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery as well as General Surgery and has been in independent practice for over five years. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, a clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and an ATLS instructor.
