My expertise includes, but is not limited to, temporomandibular disorders, myofascial pain syndrome, headaches, and trigeminal neuralgia, which frequently manifest because of head and neck injury. I practiced general dentistry for 23 years, and due to a spinal cord compression in my neck, I was forced to sell my practice in 2011. In 2012 I was appointed an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and served both in the Hygiene Department and the Care Planning and Restorative Sciences Department in the Dental School. I covered student clinics for both hygiene and dental students. For the hygiene program, I coordinated the Head and Neck Anatomy Course and was the sole lecturer from 2013-2021. I also taught local anesthetics and nitrous oxide sedation to both hygiene and dental students.
