Dr. Melissa Bohonos is board-certified in Ophthalmology by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is fellowship trained in Glaucoma and is a comprehensive ophthalmologist in active practice seeing patients of all ages. Dr. Bohonos completed her ophthalmology training at Boston Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center with maximum exposure to a wide variety of ocular trauma pathology and cases. Dr. Bohonos has had additional fellowship training in Glaucoma and has performed over a thousand glaucoma procedures including complex glaucoma/cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (canaloplasty, istent implant), trabeculectomy, tube shunt implant, selective laser trabeculoplasty, cytophotocoagulation (cpc) and many more. Dr. Bohonos also has extensive experience with dry eye disease management including in post LASIK patients.
