Aton M. Holzer, MD, is a seasoned Mohs surgeon who is the Director of Mohs Surgery in the Department of Dermatology at Tel Aviv-Sourasky (Ichilov) Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, a major academic hospital in the heart of a bustling metropolis, where he supervises a busy Mohs unit with three surgeons, residents and student rotators, and also serves as director of the American College of Mohs Surgery Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) fellowship program. He is double-boarded in both Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. For ten days each month Dr. Holzer commutes to the United States to work in NY, NJ, DE and CT, primary (but not exclusively) in communities that are relatively underserved by Mohs surgeons, and he maintains active licenses in PA and FL.
