He has also worked for 4 years for the Indian Health Service in a small rural hospital ED. He is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Arizona, where he is the Emergency Medicine Residency Director. He has years of experience reviewing cases as an outside consultant for the state medical board and his hospital’s quality and peer review committees. He is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer and former director of Emergency Medicine Ultrasound. He has lectured in Emergency Medicine on the local, regional, and national level and has authored many abstracts, scientific articles, and book chapters in the field of Emergency Medicine and medical education.
