Elbert Sorrell is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with extensive experience in occupational safety and health/risk control. Dr. Sorrell was granted Professor Emeritus status in the M.S in Risk Control/Safety Management Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stout after 28 years of service when he retired in January 2016. He is well versed in the multi-disciplinary areas of occupational safety and health (management system development and evaluation, program/policy development and implementation, program monitoring and management, regulatory compliance, risk/hazard assessment and safety training and evaluation) with a particular interest in facilitating the integration of safety, and health and environment processes into existing management systems.
