I am a snowsports expert in skiing, sledding, tubing, and ski area operations. I've been a ski instructor certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) since 1984. My roles in the ski industry include, but are not limited to Division Director, Discipline Chairperson, Education Team Member, Trainer, and Examiner for multiple PSIA divisions. I am a L100 Race Coach certified by the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA). I have over 53-seasons of on-hill snowsports experience, including safety, risk management, administration, and operations. I have a clear understanding of snowsports physics and mechanics through my PSIA, USSA, and engineering education and over 40-years of professional engineering practice.
