I am a snowsports expert in skiing, sledding, and tubing. I've been a ski instructor certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) since 1984. My roles in the ski industry include, but are not limited to discipline chairperson, Education Team Member, trainer, and examiner for multiple PSIA divisions. I have over 53-seasons of on-hill snowsports experience, including safety, risk management, administration, and operations. I have a clear understanding of snowsports physics and mechanics through my engineering education and over 40-years of professional engineering practice. I am a licensed Professional Engineer in 10-states (Civil Engineering) and own an active residential structural engineering and land development practice. My communication, research, writing, and professional experience give me the ability to originate expert reports and provide testimony that articulate convincing fact-based narratives. At age 51, I was admitted to the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. At age 53, after two years of intensive research and peer reviewed writing, I earned my MPA with a 3.97 grade point average. Throughout my career I have developed the ideal skill set for Expert Witness work, grounded in over 53-ski seasons, over 42-seasons as a ski instructor certified by PSIA, five levels of PSIA certifications and two levels of accreditation. My expertise has also been enhanced by my practice as a licensed Civil Engineer (since 1987), my veracious lifelong learning, business acumen, graduate level communication, forensic research, and writing skills, and entrepreneurial mastery. This exceptional skill set gives me the ability to write impressive expert reports and provide authentic testimony that explains complex concepts in plain easy to understand language that educates, influences, and has a high-impact on opposing counsel, trial judges, and juries.
