Later, I ran my own construction company, reconstructing hurricane-damaged homes. I became an Insurance Adjuster in 2010, handling disaster claims nationwide. Eventually, I managed complex, litigated claims across the country and earned an LPCS designation. In 2019, I became a Public Insurance Adjuster and Appraiser, working catastrophe claims from Hurricanes Laura, Delta, Zeta, and Ida and daily disaster claims including fires, plumbing leaks, hail damage etc.. I expanded services to include Property Damage Appraisals and Expert Witness Consulting.
