Dr. Paris Ekeke currently serves as the Associate Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ekeke earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University, completed her pediatric residency at Northwestern University and Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and her neonatal-perinatal fellowship at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She also holds a master's degree in epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.
Prior to her leadership position at the University of Michigan, Dr. Ekeke practiced as a neonatologist at Akron Children's Hospital in Ohio and was affiliated with the UPMC Newborn Medicine Program. Dr. Michael J. Morowitz is a Professor of Surgery with Tenure at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and an attending pediatric surgeon at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where he has practiced since 2010. He is board certified in both General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery.
