Dr. Mahboubi completed his residency in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at University of California Irvine following a post-doctoral research fellowship at the same institution, which helped develop his passion for treating ear and skull base diseases. He then spent additional two years completing a clinical fellowship in otology and neurotology at House Ear Clinic and University of California Los Angeles where he advanced his skills in cochlear implants, stapedectomy, and complex ear and lateral skull base surgery.
