After high school, he worked as a rough carpenter on custom homes before co-founding a general contracting company, with projects ranging from high-end custom homes to large residential and commercial remodels. This exposure gave him a comprehensive understanding of energy-efficient building, structural details, and the importance of clear communication between designers, trades, and owners.
In 2005, Tim and his family moved to Phoenix, where he managed projects for a residential and commercial firm before overseeing the final year of construction of a 28,000 sq. ft. home on an 8-acre estate in Paradise Valley.
