Robert G. Tuck is the Founder and President of Jet Research, LLC. Since its founding in 1996, Jet Research has completed more than 900 aircraft engagements across corporate, business, and commercial aviation in over 50 countries, serving aircraft owners, flight departments, operators, lessors, financial institutions, and legal counsel.
Mr. Tuck holds a FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate issued in 1989 with a clean FAA record. He is authorized as a 2-REG Fixed Wing Airworthiness Inspector (Bailiwick of Guernsey Aircraft Registry) and is a former FAA ODA Unit Member with airworthiness authorizations equivalent to DAR-T. He is a U.S. Army veteran with more than ten cumulative years of field experience in Europe working under EASA regulatory frameworks.

When a case turns on whether an autonomous or safety-critical system was properly designed, verified, or certified, I provide the independent technical judgment attorneys need to establish or challenge that standard.
I evaluate whether systems were reasonably built and validated for their intended environment : reviewing hazard analyses, safety cases, certification evidence, and the engineering decisions that determined whether a system was ready for real-world deployment.
My opinions are grounded in direct program accountability across Lockheed Martin F-35 flight test, Northrop Grumman systems engineering, Boeing engineering, and Anduril autonomous UAS operations
