I am a board certified orthopedic surgeon with 30 years experience in general orthopedics, including 13 years of practice as a surgeon in the US Army, with 2 years assigned to the 1st Ranger Battalion. I have extensive experience with Workman's Comp and Independent Medical Exams, as well as deposition testimony as an expert witness. I have performed hundreds of IME's and do extensive Workers Comp in clinical practice. I am a true General Orthopaedic Surgeon with decision making expertise in most areas including spine. I am a current Fellow of The Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and am licensed in the state of Georgia. I have attended several American Board Of Independent Medical Examiners courses, as recently as this year and perform disability evaluations according to 5th and 6th edition AMA Guides.

I have practiced as a board-certified Physician Associate (PA-C) for 10 years in a clinical and surgical setting for both orthopedic and spine surgery. My clinical role has included diagnosing and treating a wide variety of acute and chronic orthopedic/spine conditions. Extensive experience in reading and interpreting orthopedic/spine X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and CT myelograms of the spine. I routinely perform a variety of orthopedic injections in clinic for appropriate conditions. My surgical experience has included being a first assist for various orthopedic, sports medicine, trauma, and spine surgeries.
