Nationwide experience as hydrologist, environmental engineer, and civil engineer, including for construction, operations, design, inspections, contamination, pollution, sinkholes, grading, pumping, water distribution, water treatment, dams, soils, hazardous waste, spills, regulations, Standard of Care, sedimentation, wetlands, floodplains, toxicity, remediation, health and safety, landfills, monitoring, modeling, odors, combined sewers, overflows, aquifers, hydraulic fracturing, hydroplaning, and metering. Forensic cases for Mr. Dutill have comprised federal and state courts, and include damages from approximately $25,000 to approaching $1 billion, with most between $100,000 to $5M. As indicated in feedback from attorneys on expert witness cases, some of the strengths of Mr. Dutill include understandable guidance, responsiveness, timeliness, communication, effective report writing, strong testimony (including on cross), efficiency, organization, and assistance with framing case issues.
