I am a board certified reconstructive plastic surgeon specializing in breast surgery and breast reconstruction with extensive experience in cosmetic, head & neck, and hand surgery. I practice at Erie County Medical Center and serve as Associate Program Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency at the University at Buffalo. My clinical work focuses on helping patients navigate complex reconstructive needs with clear communication, thoughtful surgical planning, and evidence-based care. I am also involved in academic plastic surgery through teaching, research, publication, and resident mentorship. Outside of clinical responsibilities, I am the founder of The Prudent Plastic Surgeon, a physician-focused media platform helping doctors build financial well-being, independence, and a more intentional life. Through writing, education, and community-building, I share practical guidance on personal finance, investing, real estate, burnout prevention, and career fulfillment. Our community is now 20,000+ strong. Additionally, I provide expert witness and medical-legal consulting services in matters involving plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery, breast reconstruction, microsurgery, surgical complications, standard of care, causation, and case review.
