Additional Information

I am a triple board-certified Nurse Practitioner and Legal Nurse Consultant with over 30 years of clinical experience, providing expert witness and medical-legal support services. My specialties include trauma, emergency medicine, critical care, and family practice, allowing me to offer a broad, multispecialty perspective in case evaluation. I assist attorneys in understanding complex medical issues by delivering clear, objective analysis of medical records, standards of care, and causation. With a strong foundation in direct patient care across diverse settings, I bring a practical, real-world clinical perspective to every case I review. I am experienced in evaluating clinical decision-making, identifying deviations from accepted standards, and translating complex medical information into organized, defensible findings that support litigation strategy. I hold a doctoral degree, a Master’s degree, and two post-master’s certificates. I maintain active certifications as an Emergency/Trauma Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and Family Nurse Practitioner, and I am licensed as both a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. My clinical experience spans adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations, with particular expertise in acute and complex injury assessment, emergency and critical care management, and standards of care in high-acuity settings. I have served as an expert witness in cases involving acute injury, wrongful death, and deviations in emergency and intensive care treatment. I provide comprehensive medical record review, chronology development, case merit evaluation, and forensic analysis for both plaintiff and defense counsel. My work includes detailed chart interpretation, report preparation, and litigation support designed to help attorneys make informed, strategic decisions early in the case process. In addition to my clinical and consulting work, I have contributed to quality assurance initiatives, provided education and training to healthcare professionals, and served as a mentor in clinical practice. I am committed to evidence-based practice, professional integrity, and maintaining strict confidentiality. As an expert witness, I offer unbiased, well-supported opinions grounded in extensive clinical experience. I prioritize clear communication and reliable analysis that withstands legal scrutiny and adds measurable value to each case.
