Hospice & Palliative Care: Board-certified expertise in goals-of-care discussions, symptom management, opioid prescribing, withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment, and end-of-life decision-making. Well-positioned to evaluate cases involving allegations of inadequate pain management, premature or delayed hospice referral, or failure to address patient suffering. Obesity Medicine: Board-certified with deep clinical knowledge of pharmacological and non-pharmacological obesity treatment, including GLP-1 receptor agonists, bariatric surgery candidacy, and obesity-related comorbidity management. Qualified to opine on cases involving weight-related conditions, medication side effects, and obesity as a contributing factor in injury or illness. Active Medical Educator Actively teaches medical students, resident physicians, and clinical support staff, which ensures that knowledge of current standards of care, emerging treatments, and evolving clinical guidelines remains continuously up to date.
