Additional Information

I obtained my Graduates Degree (MS) in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University in 2026. In addition, I have obtained three accredited credentials from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and one from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. Currently, I have obtained the following credentials: • Certified Safety Professional (CSP-44358) • Associate Safety Professional (ASP-36744) • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST-16024) • Certified Safety Management Practitioner (CSMP-13295) I started my career as a Drum Sampler/Mapper and was promoted to a Safety Technician, Safety Engineer, and Safety Manager working in the hazardous waste industry and was eventually promoted to the Corporate Office of Waste Management in Oakbrook, IL. I eventually transferred to the solid waste industry as a Regional Safety Manager. Eventually, I transitioned to work for the State of Florida and developed the first safety and health program for Miami-Dade County. I published three short stories in a book called "Healthy Stories" as they relate to safety occurrences outside the work environment. Afterwards, I went into the insurance business as a Region Safety Manager and managed a book of accounts in Florida. I have been in the health and safety field for over 28 years and have worked as an Expert Witness in Florida and Texas. I currently work as a Director of Safety and Risk for a civil engineering company, Centerline, Inc. In addition, I own G3 Safety Services, which provides safety services and expert witness activities. Throughout my career, I have been responsible for the development and implementation of safety, health, security, transportation, and environmental risks like hazardous waste, solid waste, construction, insurance, and health. I have been an active member of the American Society of Safety Professionals for a couple of decades. I held the position, as President of ASSP’s South Florida Chapter for three years receiving chapter status of gold, for two years, and platinum level status in 2023-2024. I am still a participant and reside on the Board of Directors for the South Florida Chapter. I am responsible for directing, developing, planning, and implementing the Company’s safety, DOT, and environmental program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. I support Executive Management, and field personnel to enhance the overall strength of operations and safety; therefore, operationally assisting to protect employees, clients, subcontractors, and the public. I have worked, from a client’s perspective, with OSHA and OSHA’s Consultation Program to accomplish common safety goals and strategies. Working to engage OSHA in our work practices and processes allows us to collaborate with one another to reach common goals for both our employees and employer.
