Linda Bluestein, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and one of the few physicians in the United States with deep clinical expertise in Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). She provides expert witness services including record review, case analysis, written reports, deposition testimony, and trial testimony in cases involving these conditions. These conditions are frequently misdiagnosed, inadequately treated, and poorly understood by general practitioners -- making qualified expert testimony both rare and essential in litigation involving diagnostic delay, standard of care disputes, personal injury, disability claims, and medical malpractice. CLINICAL EXPERTISE Dr. Bluestein is the founder of Hypermobility MD, a medical practice specializing exclusively in hypermobility-related conditions. She holds board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology and has over two decades of clinical experience. Her practice encompasses hEDS, HSD, MCAS, POTS, chronic pain, dysautonomia, and the complex multi-system presentations that frequently accompany connective tissue disorders. She has personal lived experience with hEDS, dysautonomia, and probable MCAS, giving her an unusually comprehensive understanding of the patient experience alongside her clinical training. She is the host of Bendy Bodies with the Hypermobility MD, a podcast approaching its 200th episode and recognized as one of the most authoritative clinician-led educational resources on hypermobility disorders. She has lectured extensively and her work has been cited in CNN, National Geographic, Newsweek, Outside Magazine, Medscape, and Pointe Magazine. She previously served as Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she directed the RISHI Healer's Art Program.
