Frank “Alligator” Robb is a wildlife management specialist with 31 years of experience working with nuisance alligators and crocodiles in Florida. Over the course of his career, he has developed extensive expertise in the capture, handling, and relocation of crocodilians, as well as in human-wildlife conflict mitigation across a wide range of environments. He is the Founder and President of EEARSS (Environmental Education Awareness Research Support and Services), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to biodiversity research, environmental health, and education. Through EEARSS, Frank leads research initiatives focused on using the American alligator as a sentinel species for human health, studying environmental contaminants such as heavy metals and PFAS in collaboration with the Wise Lab of Environmental and Genetic Toxicology at the University of Louisville. Frank’s research experience includes biodiversity surveys, his work supports conservation efforts and informs land management strategies through partnerships with organizations such as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Brevard County’s Environmentally Endangered Lands Program. In addition to his field and research work, Frank is an appointed member of the IUCN SSC Crocodile Specialist Group and serves on its Human-Crocodile Conflict Working Group, contributing to international efforts focused on crocodilian conservation and conflict mitigation. He has also served as an expert witness in wildlife-related cases, providing professional insight based on decades of field experience. Frank has worked catching nuisance Alligators and Crocodiles for Florida Fish and Wildlife and Us Fish and Wildlife Service for more than 30 Years, during that time being involved with sea turtle nesting surveys, scrub Jay monitoring, relocation of gopher tortoise and much more. He holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences and has authored two books and has published numerous scientific articles. Frank is an experienced educator and speaker, delivering programs for schools, government agencies, and organizations including NASA and the Department of Defense. He is also the host of the EEARSS Podcast, produced in partnership with Titusville High School, where professionals from a wide range of fields share their career paths and experiences.
