Bio for Expert Witness: Keith Rohman, AWI-CH, is a nationally recognized expert in civil, criminal, workplace, and Title IX investigations. Since founding Public Interest Investigations, Inc. in 1984, he has led hundreds of high-profile investigations involving board members, executives, staff, contractors, and other stakeholders facing allegations such as embezzlement, conflicts of interest, wage and hour violations, discrimination, wrongful termination, and other serious misconduct across public agencies and private sector organizations. Rohman has conducted and overseen Title IX investigations involving sexual assault and misconduct allegations at dozens of colleges, universities, and K–12 districts throughout the Western United States. He also served as principal investigator for U.S. attorneys representing victims tortured at Abu Ghraib prison in litigation against military contractors. His investigative work includes involvement in the Rodney King case, the El Monte Thai garment worker slavery case, and numerous other high-profile matters. Rohman is a past president of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and served as senior faculty for the AWI Training Institute, as well as Founding Co-Chair of AWI’s Advanced Training Institute. He was an adjunct professor of law at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, for 20 years. AWI is an international professional association dedicated to promoting excellence and impartiality in workplace investigations, serving more than 3,000 members, including investigators, attorneys, and human resource professionals. Rohman also co-founded the T9 Mastered Training Program for Title IX investigators. Given his extensive experience in both civil and criminal matters, Rohman is frequently retained as an expert witness. He has provided expert testimony on the adequacy of workplace and Title IX investigations, administrative investigations in law enforcement, and claims of ineffective assistance of counsel in capital cases, among other issues. Throughout his career, Rohman has remained committed to advancing the investigations profession. He regularly presents at industry conferences and provides training on best practices in workplace and Title IX investigations.
