13Additional Information
I am a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with over a decade of clinical anesthesia practice in high-acuity settings. My background includes extensive experience at a Level 1 trauma center, high-risk obstetrics, outpatient surgery centers, orthopedic procedures, urologic surgery, and complex perioperative patient management. Throughout my career, I have provided anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical patients while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, risk reduction, and adherence to established standards of care. My expertise includes the evaluation of anesthesia-related complications, airway management, perioperative decision-making, medication administration, physiologic monitoring, documentation standards, informed consent issues, and compliance with accepted anesthesia practices. I am experienced in assessing cases involving surgical and procedural sedation, general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia, postoperative complications, and perioperative patient safety concerns. As a medical-legal consultant, I conduct comprehensive reviews of medical records, anesthesia records, operative reports, and related clinical documentation to identify key issues, evaluate adherence to standards of care, and determine whether deviations from accepted practice may have occurred. I provide objective, evidence-based opinions supported by current literature, clinical guidelines, and professional standards. I am available to assist both plaintiff and defense counsel and am committed to providing impartial, independent opinions based solely on the facts of each case. My role is not to advocate for either side, but rather to offer a fair and balanced assessment of the clinical care provided and its alignment with accepted anesthesia standards and practices. My experience in both hospital and ambulatory surgery settings allows me to offer a practical, real-world perspective on the delivery of anesthesia care across multiple practice environments. I am committed to providing thorough, unbiased, and timely case evaluations that assist attorneys in case screening, litigation strategy, deposition preparation, expert reports, deposition testimony, and trial support. My goal is to translate complex medical information into clear, concise, and actionable insights that can be understood by attorneys, judges, and juries.
