I am a board-certified Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician, Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), Assistant Professor of Medicine at UMass Chan Medical School–Baystate, Program Director of the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, and Director of the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Program at Baystate Medical Center. I maintain an active clinical practice in pulmonary medicine and critical care, caring for critically ill patients in the ICU and patients with complex pulmonary diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My areas of expertise include respiratory failure, mechanical ventilation, ARDS, sepsis, shock, pulmonary fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, pleural disease, pulmonary nodules, and hospital-based medicine. Since 2021, I have led pulmonary and critical care simulation and procedural training for fellows and have served as chair of our ICU Sedation and Liberation Committee, helping develop and implement evidence-based ICU protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and standards of care. I have authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in pulmonary and critical care medicine, including work on pulmonary consultations for hypoxia, pleural disease, bronchoscopy, pulmonary nodules, Legionnaires’ disease outbreaks, septic shock, and other respiratory disorders. I also serve as a reviewer for several medical journals. I provide objective, evidence-based medical record review, expert reports, independent medical examinations, deposition testimony, and trial testimony. I am available for cases involving pulmonary disease, respiratory failure, ICU management, mechanical ventilation, delayed diagnosis, critical illness, hospital care, causation, and standards of care. Available for plaintiff and defense representation.
