I am a board certified hand and upper extremity specialist and plastic surgeon. I am fellowship trained in orthopedic hand surgery. I have extensive and specialized training in a multitude of acute and chronic conditions in the upper limb. I am able to diagnose and treat a multitude of musculoskeletal orthopedic conditions of the upper extremities including fractures, muscle, tendon, ligament injuries, nerve injuries, and arthritis among others. I am able to diagnose and treat a multitude of plastic surgery related conditions of the head and neck, body, upper and lower extremities as well. I am well versed in the treatment of burns. I currently take emergency room call at a level 1 trauma designated hospital. I practice in a tertiary center and train residents. I am a recognized thought leader in hand and plastic surgery. I have authored over 25 peer-reviewed journal articles in leading journals and several textbook chapters. I have extensive experience performing independent medical examinations & IMEs, evaluating functional impairment, work-related repetitive use injuries, Gillete Injuries and determining maximum medical improvement (MMI). I am experienced in disability and impairment ratings. I have a in-depth understanding of causation analysis. I strive to perform independent medical examinations with unbiased thoroughness and deliver clearly written, defensible reports in a timely manner.
